SUNRISE, FLA. — Brightway Insurance, one of the largest Personal Lines independent insurance agencies in the U.S., named Ryan Collins, Owner of Brightway, The Ryan Collins Agency, the 2019 New Agency Owner of the Year award and the 2019 Mover and Shaker award.
The New Agency Owner of the Year award goes to the highest-producing Agency Owner (based on new property/casualty policies written) whose agency has a full year’s results on the books, and the Mover and Shaker award goes to the Agency Owner whose agency moved up the most number of spots in new property/casualty policies written rank in the calendar year. Collins, who opened his Agency in Sunrise in September 2018, ranked No. 146 by the end of the year. By the end of 2019, he had jumped to No. 20 among all Brightway Agencies across the country.
“Ryan and his team do phenomenal work, and I look forward to this time each year when we recognize our top Agency Owners,” said Brightway President and CEO, Michael Miller.
Brightway’s Executive Team presented the awards to Collins during the company’s annual awards celebration held Thursday, Jan. 23, at the Hilton Bonnet Creek in Orlando.
Kandie Landers, Enterprise Owner of Brightway, The Landers Agency with locations in Fort Lauderdale and Glendale, Colorado, earned the Referral Rockstar award for referring the most new Agency Owners into the system for the year.
Another big winner of the night was Trevor Menear from Collins’ Agency, who earned Brightway’s $1 Million Producer award for selling more than $1 million in written premium in 2019.
