The Thompson family officially cut the ribbon on Idaho’s very first Brightway Insurance agency this month. Members of the Thompson family, the Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce and friends from across Southeast Idaho helped dedicate Brightway, The Thompson Agency with a grand opening at their South Yellowstone Highway location June 10.

 

Also joining Brightway, The Thompson Agency co-owners Mike, Mark, Carol and Erica Thompson in a special appearance was Rexburg’s own Hollin Parkinson, the reigning Mrs. Idaho America and Rexburg Mayor, Jerry Merrill. The new agency opened its doors for business this past April.

 

“We have always been an entrepreneurial family, and our hunt for an opportunity to provide a valuable experience and product to our community in Idaho is what led us to Brightway,” Mike Thompson said. The Thompsons bring decades of sales experience to their agency, and their family has been part of the Idaho community, off and on, for the last 50 years. Both Mike and Mark have MBAs in International Business and experience working and living throughout the United States, Asia and Canada.
