Veteran businessman and now Brightway Agency Owner, Razur Rahman, has opened Brightway, The Raylight Agency in Brighton. While Rahman’s agency is Brightway’s fourth location to open in Michigan, Brightway is one of the largest property/casualty agencies in the United States and now has locations in 19 states.

A pharmacist by profession, Rahman has owned and operated a number of businesses including an independent pharmacy, a restaurant and a real estate practice. A native of Detroit, Mich., he graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Science in Biology. Rahman and his wife of eight years, Kausar, have one child. He loves travelling, playing sports and spending time with his family. Rahman is also a board member of WhiteCollarSports.com, a non-profit that introduces high school scholar athletes to sports business terminology, collegiate sports management programs and sports business careers. As a Brightway Agency Owner, he looks forward to bringing a better way to buy insurance to the people of Brighton and the Detroit metropolitan communities.
Alinuru “Ali” Yasin comes to Brightway with more than 11 years’ experience as an Insurance Agent, including a decade at Allstate. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and is pursuing a Master of Science in Finance and Financial Management Services from Walsh College in Troy, Mich. A native of Tanzania, Yasin speaks fluent English and Swahili. He’s a member of The Player Detroit and volunteers through Junior Achievement USA and Concours d’Elegance of America. A published author, Yasin enjoys writing poetry. He is passionate about helping his customers get the coverage they need and looks forward to offering more choice as a Brightway Agent.
