MIAMI LAKES, Fla. (May 10, 2017) — Brightway Insurance is expanding across the country and growing its footprint in its headquarters state of Florida, as Jacqueline Howard and Robin White-Twiggs unite to open Brightway, Miami Lakes on Monday, May 15. Brightway is the nation’s seventh largest privately held Personal Lines independent insurance agency.
South Florida natives, Howard and White-Twiggs, bring 10 years’ insurance experience to Brightway, to include each owning their own Independent Agency.

“As Independent Agents, our time was split between selling policies, servicing existing customers and everything that comes with running a business,” White-Twiggs added. “However, Brightway provides support in customer service, accounting, carrier relationships, marketing and more, so that our focus can be on providing expert counsel to each and every customer.”
Prior to their insurance careers, the dynamic duo first crossed paths while serving as Miami-Dade Law Enforcement Officers. After retirement, both pursued careers in insurance, each opening their own independent Agencies. Howard earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Central State University in Wilberforce, Ohio, while White-Twiggs, earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens, Fla., after graduating from American Senior High School in Miami Lakes, Fla. Both women are involved in their communities, White-Twiggs through involvement with the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and Howard through God’s Amazing Grace Outreach Ministries in Miami Gardens. Additionally, they are members of the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce, Florida Association of Independent Agents, National African-American Insurance Association and Miami-Dade Retired Police Officer Council. In their free time, they enjoy interior decorating and spending time with family. Howard and White-Twiggs cannot wait to get started, as their customers will be sure to find a level of expertise and choice in insurance they have never experienced anywhere else.
