Brightway, The Dimitri J. Apostle Agency insurance office presented a $5,000 donation Thursday morning to help fund one of the Piedmont’s biggest supporters of children in need.
Thanks to the Star Outreach program, Bright Blessings received the gift in a ceremony at its office in Matthews, North Carolina. Star Outreach is a product of Orion180, an insurance carrier Brightway writes policies for in the Tar Heel State. Orion180 donated more than $160,000 to non-profits in 2021.
Bright Blessings is a volunteer-led organization founded by two of Apostle’s Brightway Insurance clients, John and Amy Cervantes, in 2005. The non-profit group helps makes a positive impact in the lives of homeless and impoverished children.
From providing basic care to celebrating birthdays for more than 100,000 kids over the past two decades, Bright Blessings works in partnership with more than 30 local agencies and school districts throughout Cabarrus, Gaston, Iredell, Mecklenburg, Union and York Counties in North Carolina.
