An established Gordon County business will be under new management beginning next week. Taking the helm of the previously owned and operated branch by Kacee Smith, insurance professional Lyndsay Davis will provide new leadership for the new Brightway, The Lyndsay Davis insurance office.
Beginning Monday, the South Wall Street venture will continue to service existing customers, as well as provide coverage options for new customers. Davis brings an impressive eight-year tenure in the Peach State’s insurance industry to her new role.
“Being able to take something this successful and help it grow to the next level and beyond is a challenge I’m looking forward to,” Davis said.
Licensed to sell insurance in both Georgia and Tennessee, the agency will continue to benefit from the expertise of office manager Shelby Banks who successfully led the office under Smith's leadership.
“When I was a young girl, I always saw myself working in the veterinary field,” Davis added. “Things change as life happens, though. And now I’ve learned that being able to care for things that are precious to me and to others really showcases that nurturing spirit. Insurance has really given me that, providing me a forum to share that kind of commitment with others here in Northwest Georgia.”
Davis, now 33, brings robust knowledge and experience in growing the Downtown Brightway Insurance franchise. Davis, a 2008 graduate of Grayson High School, currently resides in Buford with her husband, Chris, and their daughter.
