ST. PETERSBURG, FLA. – More residents in and around St. Petersburg can experience expert counsel and more choice when buying insurance for their homes, vehicles and much more as father-son team, Joe and Chris Craig, open Brightway, The Craig Agency.
“We’ve enjoyed being a part of the business community in St. Petersburg and look forward to opening a Brightway agency, where we can help our friends and neighbors protect what they’ve worked so hard to earn,” said Chris Craig. “We offer the most choice of insurance brands and will leverage that advantage to find the right insurance for each customer.”
A lifelong resident of St. Petersburg, Chris Craig is passionate about customer service and helping others. As a former warehouse manager, he learned that trustworthy service builds solid customer relationships and a reliable team that saw no turnover during his tenure. Chris Craig brings to Brightway several years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service. He graduated from Shorecrest Preparatory School, located near his new Brightway Agency. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Central Florida in Orlando and holds a 2-20 Property and Casualty License. He is a member of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and attends First United Methodist Church in downtown St. Petersburg. For fun, he loves spending time outdoors, competing in fun runs, triathlons and obstacle courses, and enjoys paddleboarding and kayaking.
Both son and father will be involved in the agency with Chris Craig running the day-to-day operations and Joe Craig providing support and direction behind the scenes.
Dr. Joe Craig has 40 years of experience as a sole practitioner for his successful dental practice. He was born and raised in Virginia where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, and his dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. For over 40 years he ran a dental practice and even volunteered at St. Petersburg Free Clinic. He has been married for 41 years and has two children and two grandchildren. Like his son Chris, Joe is also a member of the St. Petersburg Area Chamber of Commerce and attends First United Methodist Church. He enjoys tennis, golf and jogging.
