BRADENTON, FLA. — Residents in and around Bradenton soon will experience a better way to buy insurance for their homes, vehicles and much more. On Monday, April 15, Chris Dillon will open the doors to Brightway, The Dillon Agency. Dillon brings more than 30 years of military leadership experience to Brightway and continues his service today as a member of the Florida Army National Guard.
“I look forward to educating and assisting communities that are underserved when it comes to getting quality insurance for a reasonable price,” said Dillon. “With the backend support Brightway provides, I’m able to offer expert counsel to every customer and more choice in insurance brands than you’ll find anywhere else.”
Dillon grew up in nearby Sarasota, Fla., and graduated from Cardinal Mooney Catholic High School. In addition to 12 years of property/casualty experience primarily with Nationwide, he has served in the U.S Air Force and Florida Army National Guard. Dillon earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Columbia Southern University in Orange Beach, Alabama; and a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida. He holds Florida 2-20 and 2-15 licenses. Dillon and wife, Holly, have been married nearly 30 years, and they have one son. He’s also joining the Bradenton Rotary Club. For fun, Dillon enjoys road biking, martial arts and weight-training. He also loves volunteering as an assistant coach for the Braden River Little League and sponsors a team.
