A Bozeman business pro continues his drive for an American Dream as he prepares for a new mission next week. David Dickey will open the doors on Brightway, The David Dickey Agency insurance office.
Previously having launched his own I.T. service business before moving to Bozeman, where he owned and operated Allegra, a print marketing business, the 50-year-old entrepreneur is putting his experience and skill sets to work at his new Stoneridge Drive location.
When the Florida native and Treasure State entrepreneur moved to Montana in 2016, Dickey saw his first wish come true.
“I always wanted to live out west in Big Sky Country,” Dickey said. “And now, getting to start a brand-new business here in Gallatin County is just another dream becoming a reality.”
The city’s newest venture is led by one of the most recently elected officials in Southern Montana. In 2022, Dickey was one of two candidates elected to the Monforton School Board. Dickey has four children between the ages of 15 and 9.
Currently licensed to sell insurance in Montana and Idaho, the Bozeman resident holds a bachelor of science degree and a master’s degree from Florida State University. “Making Montana home has been a game changer for my family,” Dickey added. “But being able to put my experience to work here in the valley in a way that can directly help other people is making all the difference.”
